Hi guys! Many of you know that in January of this year, I started my fitness journey. I took the plunge and purchased an at home workout program. If you workout from home, you know it can come with a plethora of distractions and hurdles. In this post, I am going to show you my top tips for working out at home!
1) Remove Distractions - Whether it be your dog, cat, husband, or kids, remove them from the room when you are planning to workout! You should also silence your phone!!
2) Create your workout space - Created a designated place in your home where you will be doing your workouts. It can be simply your living room or your bedroom.
3) Make a Plan - Now, I know this is the HARDEST post because a lot of the time you might have a plan for working out but then you get lazy and don't stick to it. You need to know what your workouts are going to be, have all your equipment laid out, and have your workout clothes on and ready to go! I write down my workout schedule in my Erin Condren Life Planner and check them off when I complete them! I am also a part of an amazing team of women who keep my accountable towards my fitness and nutrition.
So, working out from home can really be a benefit because you aren't spending time or extra money that you don't have. You don't need an expensive gym membership and you don't need to drive to or from that gym either! I love working out from home and am currently doing a very intense program.
